I understand niche situations, I just don't know where that could be applied for any class. I think it's more of a [fire -> grass -> water -> fire] situation than a everything is better than Dervishes at scythe builds.
Dervishes
Pros:
- Unstrippable 25% IAS/IMS that is up 100% of the time and
- A net energy gain allowing for more spam
- Faster gain in Save Yourselves
- Can obtain 80+ Armor
- Innate Scythe Mastery
Cons:
- Strippable enchantments
- Can't use Pious Assault
Assassins
Pros:
- Critical Strike
- 33% IMS
- Can obtain 80+ armor
Cons:
- No Save Yourselves
- Longer cast and recharge for applying enchantments if stripped
- No energy management for spamming
Warriors
Pros:
- Unstrippable Warrior's Endurance
- High armor
- Armor Penetration
Cons:
- Net energy loss
- No IAS or IMS
My Opinion:
I basically simplified everything, but Dervishes do have their benefits compared with the other builds. For PvE, I think that Warriors have high but unnecessary armor because melee will usually go past to the casters. I think having a utility with your frontliner can be very important because the game isn't just about the frontliner, it's about benefiting the whole team while dishing out damage. Assassins just plain don't get this utility and Warriors don't gain it at such a consistent rate. Dervishes also get a free secondary slow incase they want to run another build with scythe.
